Response to COVID-19

After several years of taking strict precautions, we are now easing back to our normal operations.

1. Mask Use

As of June 2023, symptomless clients are no longer required to wear masks to enter the hall space.  Clients who are showing cold symptoms will be asked to put on a mask before gaining entry.

2. Limited entry

Volunteers are continuing to monitor and limit the number of people let into the Food Basket hall.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as our volunteers are doing their best to ensure a smooth and safe operation.

3. Prepackaged bags.

More food is being offered in a market-style format, but we will continue to provide a shelf-stable bag (cans, pasta, rice, cookies, soap, etc.) and a fruit/vegetable bag.

4.  No washroom access

5. No lunch will be served.

Although we appreciate the community building aspect of our hot-meals program, we have no plans to resume the program at this time.

6. Suspension of Emergency Pick-up privileges.
