Volunteer

The St. James Food Basket would not be possible without the dedicated work of our wonderful volunteers.  We are truly blessed by their presence.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve your community, we are looking for volunteers to:

• unload food deliveries
• sort fresh produce and donated goods
• kitchen help (including serving hot meals and dishwashing)
• Wednesday morning set-up
• Wednesday afternoon clean up
• register new families
• garden help

A minimum of two hours commitment, each week, is required. To better understand if this is right for you, come and watch the Food Basket in action, any Wednesday between 1 and 4 p.m. Ask to speak with our Volunteer Coordinator, who will be happy to answer any questions.
